Open Mornings take place on a Saturday morning, during a normal teaching day. This means you will see the school in full operation which will provide you with a good first introduction to the life at The Leys.

Typical Open Morning Programme

• Introductory addresses
• Tour of The Leys and Houses with a pupil guide
• Q&A session with pupils and staff

In order to arrange the correct number of guides and catering, it is essential to book places in advance.

These events take a similar form to our Open Mornings and offer the opportunity to meet with the Head and the Senior Deputy Head as well as meet a House Master/Mistress and tour the School.

Typical Small Group Visit Programme

• Arrival and meet with senior members of staff
• Tour of The Leys with a pupil guide
• Tour of a Day or Boarding House with a Housemaster or Housemistress
• Meet with our Head and Senior Deputy Head before departure

Small Group Visits are usually limited to ten families per event so that your tour can be tailored to suit your requirements. Please book in advance.

A Sixth Form Choices Evening takes place early in the Autumn Term for those interested in joining The Leys at Year 12. The evening covers elements from a typical Open Mornings, such as a tour of the site and Houses, but also offers the opportunity to meet with Heads of Subject to discuss the various A Level options we have on offer.
